WorkSchedule
Sunday – Thursday; 5:30 am – 2:00 pm

Responsible for maintaining buildings and property in quality condition; cleans, repairs, and conducts maintenance of buildings, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Essential Functions- Assist in daily operations of repair and maintenance; promptly handle all maintenance problems within department areas.
- Ensure premises and equipment are well maintained, clean, and safe.
- Be available on call 24/7 to respond to emergency situations (system failure, water leaks, etc.).
- Ensure efficient handling of all department work orders, requests, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain pertinent data records, logs, and manuals related to facilities and equipment.
- Complete daily route cleaning duties using gas‑powered blowers and garden hoses to keep spaces pristine for members/residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment with emphasis on employee health and safety; assist in training colleagues in proper safety techniques.
- Work professionally with management, other departments, and members.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED; continuing education or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum one year of related experience.
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and other repair work; HVAC certification preferred.
- Age 18 or older with a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work a varied on‑call schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Positive, professional image.
- Self‑motivated and customer‑service oriented.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
- Private residential community in North Scottsdale, AZ.
- Must frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to finger, climb or balance, handle, or feel; talk or hear; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., lift overhead, push/pull, and move lighter objects.
- Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- Work environment noise usually loud.
- Occasional exposure to Arizona desert wildlife such as snakes, scorpions, spiders, bobcats, javelinas.
