** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential issues.

+ Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site procedures.

+ Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents, hazards, and/or other concerns.

+ Support emergency response efforts, including assisting with evacuations and providing directions to staff and visitors as needed.

+ Document all incidents and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

* + CPR certification is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
