Core Responsibilities- Greet visitors and convert them into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and making vehicle recommendations suited for their lifestyle.
- Demonstrate vehicles, highlight technology and features, and accompany customers on test drives.
- Educate customers on warranties, the purchase process, and financing options.
- Stay up-to-date on vehicle inventory, product options, and vehicle technology to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Assist customers with the completion of sales and financing paperwork.
- Deliver sold vehicles to the customer, and follow up after the sale to ensure satisfaction.
- Work with prospective customers online and over the phone to provide general information and schedule showroom appointments.
- Track sales lead activities in the CRM daily and follow up with customers who are not ready to make an appointment.
- Participate in ongoing training and team development.
- At least 2 years of automotive sales experience required.
- A welcoming and friendly demeanor to make a positive impression on guests.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including communication, active listening, and rapport building.
- Professionalism, punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to think from the customer’s perspective to understand and overcome objections.
- Persuasiveness with strong negotiation skills to offer deals that satisfy both the customer and dealership goals.
- Technology proficiency to adapt to evolving vehicle technology and dealership software.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Available shifts include 8am to 4pm, 11:30am to 8pm, 1pm to 9pm, Monday – Saturday on a rotating schedule. We are closed Sundays. This is an onsite position that requires working with customers in person, online and over the phone, and occasionally on the sales lot.
