SummaryThe Account Manager II works with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts, manage renewals and marketing, prepare presentation materials, and develop relationships with carriers and clients. This full‑time position is open to a hybrid schedule from our Glendale, AZ office or remote. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts and participate proactively in meetings.
- Prepare and send requests for proposals to carriers and record spreadsheet results.
- Lead review of proposals and carrier source documents for accuracy in collaboration with the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.
- Communicate directly with clients and carriers with approval from the Account Executive or Advisor/Client Executive.
- Create and maintain client files in accordance with office procedures and keep policy records in the agency management system.
- Answer billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel with assistance from Accounting when necessary.
- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑confident to make sound independent decisions.
- Ability to interact successfully with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously.
- Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous, and professional manner.
- Customer‑focused to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Sharp attention to detail and decision‑making skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology.
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and BA/BS preferred.
- More than 3 years’ client service and/or industry and product line experience.
- P&C Insurance License required.
Competitive salary range $47,000–$65,000, PTO and paid holidays, 401(k) with match, exclusive discount programs, health & wellness programs, and more. Base salary will be determined by experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level, scope, and geographic location. Performance‑based incentives may be available.
