Job DescriptionThe Account Manager will be responsible for generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and providing value-added solutions to customers within a defined territory. This role combines prospecting, relationship management, and technical sales support to achieve revenue growth goals. Success in this role requires strong initiative, strategic thinking, and consistent follow-through with clients.
About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing organization in the manufacturing and electronics space. Our client values initiative, customer focus, and consultative selling in a territory-based sales structure.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new client relationships through cold outreach and referrals
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular contact and solution-based selling
- Present technical products and services tailored to customer needs
- Support onboarding and ensure a smooth handoff to operational teams
- Coordinate internally to meet client expectations and resolve issues
- Track and manage leads, activity, and opportunities within CRM system
- Conduct periodic in-person client visits and travel as needed within the region
- Contribute to strategic sales planning and forecasting
- Participate in campaigns to re-engage dormant accounts
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience
- Demonstrated success in business development and client retention
- Willingness to travel within Arizona and occasionally to New Mexico
- Proficiency with CRM software and standard office applications
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote or hybrid environment with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Sales experience in manufacturing, electronics, or related technical industries
- Experience with MS Dynamics
