Account Executive – Membership Experience
Delta Dental of Arizona, the state’s #1 dental and vision insurance company, is looking for an Account Executive to manage and retain assigned accounts, drive cross‑sell initiatives, and help clients find the best insurance coverage.
Responsibilities- Achieve customer retention objectives and performance standards.
- Conduct overall account management of assigned customers.
- Engage in problem solving to align customers’ core needs with our capabilities, anticipating future needs and developing action plans.
- Sell additional products to existing customers and maintain relationships with key producers.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in the CRM system.
- Manage the delivery of the product and demonstrate its value.
- Schedule and attend Open Enrollment meetings, and coordinate printing and shipping of enrollment materials.
- Prepare and communicate client‑specific customer surveys.
- Coordinate annual renewals for assigned customers and assist brokers with renewal processes and plan modifications.
- Effectively negotiate renewals and plan alternates on behalf of client and brokers.
- Project manage preparation of RFPs.
- Disseminate new programs and initiatives to clients in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Monitor and evaluate donation and solicitation requests and provide guidance as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Insurance license, Life, Health and Disability.
- Minimum 5 years of account management/retention/sales/marketing experience.
- Excellent planning, organizing and business judgment skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sales Force, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Ability to present and engage groups.
- Knowledge of group benefits and underwriting.
- Valid driver’s license and car.
- Fast‑paced learning and ability to adjust to changing requirements.
- Strategic, big‑picture thinking with tactical focus and a focus on schedule and quality.
- Effective risk‑benefit weighing while being a calculated decision maker.
- Engaging communicator with a stimulating influence on others, direct and self‑assured.

Location & Work ArrangementScottsdale, AZ – hybrid local/remote; requires driving to the corporate office as needed.
Pay RangeBase pay: $49,700 – $96,400 per year, with incentive compensation. Pay may vary by experience and education (Account Executive I or II).
