Summary

The Client Executive is responsible for selling all products and services offered in the C1 portfolio. This position must consistently meet assigned targets while seeking growth opportunities with existing clients and new logos. It is accomplished by managing and developing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Provide sales consultation, design, support, and management of client activity involving collaboration, enterprise networking, data solutions, and security products and services with primary focus in the designated region.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business with clients and potential clients in the assigned business sectors to enhance profitability and growth through effective sales and services.
  • Analyze client/competition situations, client business issues and interests, and generate strategies that achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting in accordance with C1’s standards.
  • Develop and execute a business plan consistent with short- and long‑range company objectives and assigned targets.
  • Conduct C‑level business discussions.
  • Develop and maintain technical competency in all products and solutions offered, including those from represented manufacturers and professional services offered by C1.
  • Build relationships that enable business growth to achieve assigned targets.
  • Expedite resolution of client escalations and complaints.
  • Stay well informed on industry changes, participate in industry organizations where possible, and continuously improve sales techniques and knowledge.
  • Foster strong working relationships with supporting teams such as sales support, marketing, services, and purchasing/inventory to reach assigned targets.
  • Keep updated on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying with management when necessary, and be prepared to discuss policies with clients.
  • Manage an end‑to‑end sales cycle, working with multiple cross‑functional teams.
  • Sell with a heavy emphasis on C1 solutions that align with assigned targets.
  • Consult innovatively to offer client solutions with technical acumen.
  • Facilitate new solutions by being a disruptor—expand within existing accounts, innovate, and help clients view solutions differently.
  • Understand and identify client needs and serve as a vertical expert (e.g., Public Sector, Healthcare).
  • Identify key pain points within the client base and overcome objections.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of direct selling experience in communications and data technology.
  • 4‑year college degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to call on and work directly with C‑level executives in mid‑to‑large enterprise to close business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated sales ability and technical aptitude.
  • Proven track record of territory development including new business accounts.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and sales forecasting tools.
  • Existing contacts or client relationships that can be leveraged for C1.
  • Experience with solution selling focused on cloud solutions, Microsoft and professional services, and other C1 offerings.
  • Recognized as a top producer by prior companies (e.g., President’s Club).
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA.
  • Prior experience with a solutions provider similar to C1.
