What Will I Do as a MIT?
- Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
- Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
- Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
- Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires in the absence of the manager.
- Assist the Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
- Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies).
- Drive upselling and ensure high customer service standards among team members.
Desired
Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly staff
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Availability to work a 4-5 day week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
- Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
