Assistant General Manager - Lolo's

Job Description

We are looking for a strong individual to assist the general manager with the day-to‑day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service and inventory.

• Hire, train and mentor new staff, set job expectations and conduct performance reviews.
• Resolve guest questions and complaints and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Place orders for ingredients, utensils and equipment and manage inventory.
• Schedule shifts and assign table sections to waitstaff.
• Manage payroll.
• Ensure the restaurant follows health and safety regulations.
• Record income and expenses, and balance cash registers.
• Coordinate between back‑ and front‑of‑house staff.
• Use problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to resolve issues.

• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Passion for the hospitality industry.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant.
• Experience using payroll software.
• Accounting and arithmetic skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
