Registered Nurse – Walk In Clinic
Location:
Scottsdale, Arizona
Contract:
Long‑term temporary, Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm.
Pay: $55.00 per hour.
GeneralJob Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of acute and chronic wounds, evaluating wound stages, size, depth, drainage, and infection signs
- Cleanse and dress wounds using sterile techniques, perform debridement (if certified)
- Assist providers with procedures, such as suturing, incision and drainage
- Instruct patients and families on proper wound care techniques, infection prevention, and nutrition to support healing
- Accurately document wound progress, care plans, and photos in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) for continuity of care and reimbursement
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum 1–3 years of nursing experience, with demonstrated, practical experience in wound care, preferably in an outpatient or clinic setting
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), Wound Care Certified (WCC), or Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR is highly desired
