Lathe Operator and Inter-Department Floater (2nd Shift)

Purpose of Function:
This role primarily operates CNC lathes, running parts according to engineering drawings and responsible for certification. You’ll also receive cross‑training to support other manufacturing areas. If you like learning new skills, staying busy, and contributing wherever the team needs you, this is a great fit.

• Review production orders to verify correct specifications.
• Set up lathe and operate per specifications.
• Maintain all logs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Alert Manager of any repair needs or other areas of concern with regard to the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Assist in manufacturing processes as directed.
• Assist in engineering processes as directed.
• Perform a variety of tasks to support day‑to‑day operations, including cross‑functional support.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing technician role, following work instructions and using a lathe.
