AboutThe Role
Partner with the Director of Engineering to bring our resort to life, supporting all aspects of hotel and building maintenance—from HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to fire & safety, interior finishes, and more. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our property operates seamlessly, responding to requests with professionalism and care while helping plan, organize, and direct the daily workflow of engineering operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
WhatYou Will Do
- Assist in managing the team to conduct repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects assigned by the Engineering Manager.
- Assist in the training, supervision, counseling, scheduling and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis.
- Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors who provide reliable 24‑hour emergency services.
- This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
- Minimum 2+ years of previous experience in engineering trades related to hospitality is preferred. Experience working in and supervising staff and leading teams in a hotel environment preferred.
- Requires technical knowledge of building maintenance and engineering trades.
- Ability to operate computer equipment.
- This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred.
