Overview
This position inspects airport facility conditions to ensure safe, efficient airport operations and that maintenance, emergency and security functions are compatible with local, state and federal regulations.
Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The midpoint salary is $32.28 per hour.

Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in Aviation Management or related field
- Two years of airport operations experience at an airport facility
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver’s license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date. The Arizona DMV requires out-of-state licenses to be surrendered within 10 days of relocating to Arizona.

Graduated Driver’s Licenses are considered restricted. - Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during active employment, regardless of remote work approval.
Other pertinent licenses and/or certifications may be required of some positions depending on division/department/service assignment.
