Associate Litigation Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a motivated litigation attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing practice focused on property subrogation and complex fire-loss litigation throughout the western United States. Attorneys with experience handling product defect, construction defect, premises liability, insurance, and general liability cases are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance defense attorney looking to make the career transition to high-dollar plaintiff's work.

Salary: $95,000 - $150,000 per year

• Handle complex civil litigation matters involving property and liability disputes, including product defect, construction defect, premises liability, and insurance-related claims
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Work closely with experts and technical evidence on sophisticated, fact-intensive cases
• Appear in court and gain early, meaningful courtroom experience
• Manage multiple matters independently with appropriate support and collaboration

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in at least one western U.S. jurisdiction (AZ, CA [preferred], NV, WA, OR, CO, UT, or NM)
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with expert-driven cases or technical evidence is a plus
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing complexity
