Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm located in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to handle a diverse caseload across civil, commercial, and real estate matters. Duties:

Represent clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, tort claims, and real estate-related cases

Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda with precision and strategic insight

Manage cases from inception through trial and possible appeal, including motion practice, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations

Communicate with clients regularly to provide legal advice and updates on case developments

Collaborate with internal legal teams to develop case strategy and maintain quality control

Appear in both state and federal courts as required

Participate in appellate work as needed

Maintain compliance with procedural rules, filing deadlines, and court requirements

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience handling complex matters independently
Demonstrated ability to manage caseload efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment
Exceptional legal writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical thinking abilities
Experience with Federal Court or Appellate Court clerkship strongly preferred
Bankruptcy litigation experience is considered a plus
Commitment to providing high-quality service to clients across industries

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Arizona in good standing

Skills:

Advanced legal research and persuasive writing skills
Proficiency in managing electronic discovery and litigation support tools
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team
Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines and outcomes
