Job Description Inside Property Adjuster – Scottsdale, AZAn Inside Property Adjuster provides exceptional service to policyholders by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. This role focuses on water losses, ensuring customers receive high‑level support and resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Live into Allstate’s Claims Culture by caring, empowering, and restoring customers, leading with empathy.
- Investigate property claims independently, reviewing damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
- Communicate via phone, email, and video chat to guide customers through a fast, fair, and easy claims process, tailoring the approach to customer preferences.
- Negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third‑party carriers, and claimants according to legal and business standards.
- Solve problems quickly using estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms while applying critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records in the claims system, protecting the company and ensuring timely documentation.
- Monday – Friday; 8 am – 4:30 pm with rotational Saturday duty (in‑office).
- Willingness to work some weekends and extended hours when necessary.
- 1+ years of customer service experience.
- Previous industry experience is highly desired.
- Proficiency in Xactimate and other virtual assessment software.
- Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for remote interactions.
- Self‑management and time‑efficiency in a virtual environment.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and focused on high‑quality claim resolutions.
- Residency within the posted location is mandatory.
- The training program builds a claims foundation and teaches systems and processes.
- Ongoing opportunities for continuous improvement are available on the job.
- Adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required; passing a background check with the Department of Labor.
- Required licenses to be secured within 60 days of hire, with support from the Hiring Manager and Centralized Licensing team.
Eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign‑On Bonus if you hold the applicable active licenses needed for this role (e.g., Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State Florida or Texas License, or applicable Appraiser License).

Compensation$22.44 – $33.70 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
