National General Insurance is hiring a Material Damage Telephone Adjuster Trainee. The role investigates automobile accident claims, determines coverage, liability, damages and negotiates within authority. The position is in‑office at the Scottsdale, AZ office.

• Investigate basic aspects of auto claims (coverage, liability, damages)
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate customer service
• Apply a basic understanding of company systems and technology
• Partner to determine subrogation or fraud potential and handling
• Understand basic insurance policies written by the company, industry policies and organizational relationships
• Recognize vehicle body parts and potential property damage

0-2 years experience (Preferred)

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Base compensation offered for this role is $39,852 - $55,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes base compensation and applicable incentive pay (commission, bonus, etc.).
