ABOUT

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager based in Arizona to lead a newly formed, high-impact team dedicated to enhancing system stability, efficiency, and resiliency across their technology landscape. In this hybrid role, you will manage a portfolio of initiatives focused on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), automation, and cloud optimization. You will serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and the successful delivery of key objectives.

The role is pivotal in driving improvements in system resiliency, incident management, and the implementation of observability solutions. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of technical project management experience in enterprise IT, a strong background in Agile and Scrum methodologies, and proven leadership in infrastructure, SRE, or software development projects. Experience with observability platforms, cloud environments, and the healthcare technology sector is highly desirable.

WHAT

YOU'LL DO
  • Lead and manage a dedicated team of Site Reliability Engineers and Automation Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables for initiatives such as the OTLT Tier 0 program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and progress.
  • Drive the team to meet aggressive targets, including the reduction of Mean Time to Recover (MTTR) for critical incidents and improvements in incident management capabilities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Business Journey Maps and other observability solutions using tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Track project performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in an enterprise IT environment.
  • Proven experience leading infrastructure, SRE, or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Experience with SRE principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Background in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Experience in the healthcare technology sector (preferred).
