A leading fintech organization powering secure digital payment solutions for major financial institutions across the U.S. is hiring a full-time Cloud Platform Engineer to help design, implement, and optimize AWS-based infrastructure as they migrate mission‑critical systems from on‑prem to the cloud. This role is heavily focused on AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3), Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC), Docker, and cloud security within a highly regulated environment.
This is a high‑impact role supporting a multi‑year cloud transformation initiative. The #1 feature of this opportunity is ownership — you won’t just support infrastructure, you’ll help modernize and scale it. They’re looking for someone who thrives in complex AWS environments, enjoys solving deep infrastructure challenges, and understands compliance in regulated industries like fintech or banking. You’ll gain exposure to enterprise‑scale cloud architecture, advanced security practices, and highly transactional systems — all while working in a collaborative environment with strong engineering standards and long‑term stability.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Dev Ops roles
- 3+ years of hands‑on AWS experience
- Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, KMS)
- Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker experience
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience working in regulated environments (PCI‑DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC)
- Strong Linux background
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices
- Current AWS certification
- Experience in Fin Tech, banking, or other regulated industries
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, App Dynamics)
- Container security tools (Twistlock, Aqua Security)
- Experience with Python, Ruby, or C#
- Knowledge of ACH/EFT, RTP, or Fed Now payment networks
