Position: Space Force - Tester - Tracking with Security Clearance
Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Space Force - Tester - Tracking position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for SDA ground systems (tracking domain). To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Contract:

24 months or longer Pay: $54.16/hour Responsibilities
* Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases for SDA ground systems (tracking domain).
* Perform functional, integration, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
* Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
* Identify, document, and triage defects; drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage/quality gates.
* Prepare clear test plans, procedures, and results; contribute to readiness reviews.
* Utilize monitoring/logging tools to validate system behavior in test environments. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field and 2+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 6 months of experience.
* Solid knowledge of test engineering concepts, object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting.
* Experience creating comprehensive test plans and executing complex test suites.
* Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail. Clearance Requirements
* Department of Defense Top Secret clearance preferred at time of hire.
* Applicants may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
* U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Skills & Tools Testing & QA
* Manual and automated methodologies; defect management best practices
* Tools:
Selenium, JUnit, TestNG; API testing with Postman, SoapUI Programming & Scripting
* Python, JavaScript, Shell scripting for automation and utilities Dev Ops / CI/CD
* Pipelines and test integration with Jenkins, Git Lab CI
* Version control and collaboration:
Git, Jira, Confluence Security Testing
* Methodologies and tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite Monitoring & Logging
* Splunk (or similar) for log analysis and validation Workplace Options
* Remote, hybrid, or fully on-site.
