Role: Oracle Migration – Payment Domain Specialist

We are seeking a hands-on Payment Domain Specialist to support a complex Oracle platform migration, with a focus on preserving payment business logic, lifecycle semantics, and reconciliation integrity across systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and validate payment lifecycle models (authorizations, captures, settlements, reversals, refunds, chargebacks)
• Establish payment data contracts, CRUD behaviors, and query expectations
• Ensure idempotent processing, retry semantics, and duplicate detection
• Define reconciliation rules and financial in variants
• Identify and validate edge cases (partial failures, message replays, mismatches)
• Ensure auditability, traceability, and immutable record requirements
• Partner with architects and engineers to support contract testing and migration certification

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–12+ years in payments systems (issuer, acquirer, processor, or fintech)
• Deep understanding of payment flows and settlement/reconciliation processes
• Experience with large-scale data or platform migrations (Oracle preferred)
• Strong data skills (relational schemas, joins, event-driven flows)
• Ability to translate payment business rules into technical specifications

Nice to Have:

• Experience with event-driven or microservices-based payment platforms
• Exposure to high-volume, low-latency transaction processing
