** Your Responsibilities
*** Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, EMR, and Athena.
* Architect and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions for both batch and real-time data processing
* Lead the development of data models and schemas that support analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases
* Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring, alerting, and automated validation frameworks
* Optimize cost and performance of AWS data solutions through efficient resource usage and tuning
* Collaborate with other data engineers, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
* Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, including IAM, encryption, and access controls
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level data engineers
* Participate in architectural and code reviews, technical decision-making, and long-term data platform strategy
** Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
*** Bachelor's degree in related field Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Minimum of 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production data pipelines, with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience using AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis) and how to architect them together
* Strong programming skills in Python SQL, and/or Spark, with experience building production-grade data pipeline
* Data modeling expertise for analytical and operational use cases (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling)
* Experience with batch and streaming data processing frameworks
* Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-efficient data architectures
* Strong understanding of distributed systems, data partitioning, and performance tuning
* Expertise in data quality, observability, and reliability practices
* Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
* Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across data pipelines and cloud infrastructure
* Demonstrates key competencies to include managing complexity, valuing differences, and cultivating innovation
