The Data Analyst role is critical in converting complex business, customer, and technical data into actionable insights. These insights enhance operational efficiency, inform strategic decision-making, and maximize the potential of the company's platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen
, using advanced analytics and reporting across an integrated technology stack.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex datasets, using advanced analytical techniques to derive insights.
- Design, build, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to empower customers and internal teams.
- Analyze customer data (qualitative & quantitative) to uncover trends and provide actionable insights
. - Develop and maintain a repository of standardized and customized reporting templates.
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders across departments.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and operations to align data projects with business needs.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations
. - Collaborate with internal technical teams to improve data quality and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and forecasting techniques to predict construction project timelines and improve efficiency.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics
, or equivalent relevant experience. - Strong proficiency in statistical methods, data manipulation, and pattern identification
. - Ability to devise and test hypotheses
, identify the right business questions, and implement research plans. - Strong business acumen
, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
. - 3+ years of experience working cross-functionally with business teams to align data projects with company goals.
- Proven ability to engage in independent data analysis that uncovers insights and drives business change.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g.
Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI
). - Experience with Predictive Analytics
, including knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning, and forecasting methods
. - Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
- Advanced Excel skills
, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas. - Experience with Data Lakes and Cloud Platforms
. - Experience working in Agile methodology environments
. - Industry experience in home construction is preferred
.
Level: Mid-Level
Reports To: CTO
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Must report in-person)
Salary Range: $80,000 - $125,000 USD
