Job Description
Senior Auditor, IT Audit – Pay Pal Technology Internal Audit Team. Assists in executing audit assignments, drafting audit issues and reports, tracking and validating issue closure, communicating findings, maintaining professional relationships, completing work, documenting audit work, staying updated on industry changes, and supporting audit strategies.
Essential Responsibilities- Conduct internal audit activities across assigned areas.
- Draft audit issues and reports for management review.
- Track and validate closure of audit issues.
- Communicate audit findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, business units, and support teams.
- Complete assigned work, including ad hoc projects, within deadlines.
- Document audit work concisely and in accordance with quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry changes and their impact on risk assessments.
- Support the implementation of internal audit strategies and methodologies.
- 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Execute audit assignments with emphasis on Technology, Cybersecurity, and Product businesses, draft audit issues for review by audit management, facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues.
- Utilize internal audit best practice tools, processes, and/or technologies to evaluate compliance with applicable technology/cybersecurity laws, regulations, and enterprise standards.
- Proactively develop and maintain strategic partnerships within the Internal Audit team, the business, and respective support areas across Pay Pal.
- Project manage and successfully handle large and challenging workloads on successive assignments.
- Demonstrate exemplary time‑management skills and effectively multi‑task to deliver multiple projects within time‑frame constraints.
- Evaluate test results: accurately identify symptoms, root causes, problems, and identify alternative controls.
- Keep current on business/industry and technology/product changes and their effects on the audit plan/approach and risk assessments.
- 3+ years of experience of technical audit or related experience.
- Technical understanding of systems, technology, and products, including operating systems, databases, network devices, product development, data analytics, or cybersecurity tools/processes.
- Experience with SQL, Teradata, Hadoop, Python, or other Big Data technologies.
- CISA, CISSP, or other technical certifications (CISSP, CIA, or equivalent).
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Innovative mindset and ability to develop ideas seeking ways to add value to the Global Audit team and the business.
- Ability to travel up to 10–15%.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250. Additional compensation may include a performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
