Lead System Architect

Lead System Architect at Kona Kai Corp.

• Your primary function is to design, develop, and maintain the applications on the Pega Platform that adhere to the Pega best practices.
• Partner with Business System Analyst to gather business and system requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into functional technical requirements.
• Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle, taking high ownership of the final product.
• Understand business objectives and solve challenges to achieve a successful outcome.
• Participate in user story development, documents design, unit testing, and ensure architecture is within the Pega Guardrails.
• Develop user interface, service tier, data tier components, infrastructure, or security for PRPC.
• Mentor business and technical team members on processes and standards to promote consistency and improve productivity.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field
• 7-10 years of progressive Pega experience or master’s degree with 5 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions and applications
• Pega Lead System Architect certification is required (Pega 7 preferred)
• Strong understanding of Pega methodologies (i.e Pega done the Pega way!)
• Experience with various Cloud platforms and technologies
• Experience working with multiple project methodologies, including agile, scrum and waterfall
• Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate
• Willingness to go the extra mile for the client
• Dedication to a team-oriented environment with the ability to drive and lead by example
• Ability to define and enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding
• Exposure to a variety to technologies, including object-oriented techniques/principles, database design, application & web servers, not just Pega.
• Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly; ability to explain it to both business & IT stakeholders
• A positive attitude and self-motivated with a thirst for knowledge

Location:

Tempe, AZ. Salary: $110,000 – $140,000.
