UKG Staffing Solutions Expert | HCM & Workforce Management Specialist — Sr. UKG WFM Analyst

Background

Our client, a large enterprise organization, is undertaking a net new implementation of UKG Workforce Management (WFM) to support their timekeeping and scheduling operations across multiple business units. This initiative is critical to streamline labor management, ensure compliance with complex wage and hour requirements, and enhance workforce efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a techno-functional lead supporting the end-to-end implementation of UKG WFM modules with a primary focus on Timekeeping, Advanced Scheduling, and Accruals
  • Partner closely with HR, payroll, operations, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements, map processes, and translate them into effective system configurations
  • Perform hands-on configuration of profiles, pay rules, job/work rules, accruals, workflows, and system security settings
  • Conduct design sessions and workshops with stakeholders to identify gaps, propose solutions, and align the UKG configuration with business rules and compliance standards
  • Support the development and maintenance of integrations between UKG and external systems, leveraging Dell Boomi as the middleware
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system processes, including error resolution, data validation, and performance tuning of integrations
  • Assist with testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) by creating test cases, executing scenarios, and ensuring accurate results across modules
  • Build and optimize reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insight into workforce trends, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Document system designs, process flows, and configuration decisions; provide knowledge transfer and training to business users and administrators
  • Ensure system configurations align with regulatory requirements (FLSA, state wage and hour laws, GDPR) and internal corporate policies
  • Support change management efforts, helping end-users adopt new processes and tools as the UKG system is rolled out
Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with UKG WFM in Timekeeping, Scheduling, and Accruals
  • Deep experience configuring pay rules, profiles, accrual policies, and workflows within UKG
  • Experience with data integrations between UKG and other enterprise applications
  • Dell Boomi integration experience required, including building and troubleshooting workflows and connectors
  • Ability to translate technical system details into business-friendly language for HR and operations stakeholders
  • Proven track record supporting full lifecycle implementations (design, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support)
  • Strong understanding of compliance, workforce policies, and union rules
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
