As a Pool Server at Hotel Valley Ho, you will contribute to the hotel’s success by delivering a quality food and beverage experience. You will greet guests warmly, ensure a positive dining experience, and maintain high service standards throughout the pool area.

• Demonstrate complete knowledge of fine dining service etiquette.
• Attend all scheduled staff meetings, pre‑shifts, menu roll‑outs, and supplemental training sessions.
• Adhere to liquor laws and company policies regarding consumption.
• Be familiar with emergency safety measures and state health codes.
• Know all menu items, including ingredients, preparation, provenance, and potential substitutions.
• Fluent beverage knowledge, including wine list navigation and verbal wine descriptions.
• Present menu items and beverage offerings professionally and knowledgeably.
• Communicate consistently with the FOH manager and culinary team.
• Complete side‑work responsibilities for opening and closing.
• Maintain table maintenance at all times during the guest dining experience.
• Close guest check transactions accurately in the POS system.
• Obtain service reports from micros and finalize settlement transactions per established procedures.
• Report unsigned checks to the manager.
• Follow established gratuity distribution procedures.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager.

• Strong grooming and appearance in accordance with the Employee Handbook.
• Highly organized with the ability to expedite multiple orders accurately.
• Maintains a pleasant disposition in a high‑stress work environment.
• Proficient with the micros ordering system and check processing procedures.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weights and stand for prolonged periods.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proactive in addressing and resolving conflicts.
• Commitment to safety, reporting hazardous conditions to security.
• Ability to promote excellent guest relations and contribute to teamwork.
