Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Starting pay: $18 - $23 per hour depending on experience

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Surgery/Referral Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. A team player who is outgoing, friendly, pays attention to detail. This position will be responsible for scheduling surgeries for 1 provider, assisting front receptionist, answering calls, contacting referrals, scheduling patients, performing insurance verifications and authorizations.

• Schedule surgeries for one provider
• Assist front receptionist
• Answer calls
• Call on referrals
• Schedule patients
• Perform insurance verifications and obtain authorizations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in surgical coordination or referrals
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, surgical procedures, and healthcare insurance processes
• Proficiency in EHR systems
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient care
