PRN/Per Diem
The Outpatient Program Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/ case management services, making referrals, crisis intervention and acting as a liaison with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a closely related behavioral health field and two years of professional counseling experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment program OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time behavioral health experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. A combination of education, licensure and experience and/ or student internship hours may be considered.
- Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW Required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
