Outpatient Program Therapist (PRN/Per Diem)
The Outpatient Program Therapist provides clinical social services and therapeutic treatment skills to enable patients to achieve their optimal level of emotional and behavioral health. The Outpatient Program Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning / case management services, making referrals, crisis intervention, and acting as a liaison with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a closely related behavioral health field and two years of professional counseling experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment program OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time behavioral health experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. A combination of education, licensure and experience and/or student internship hours may be considered.
- Licensure issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners to engage in the practice of behavioral health in Arizona. LAC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW Required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
