Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is a behavioral health provider serving Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. The Director of Utilization Management oversees the department including, but not limited to: utilization review, case documentation, payer relationships, regulatory requirements, staff management and department administration. They support the overall success of the hospital and promotes patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance and optimal reimbursement.
Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Social Services, Human Development, Nursing, Business, or related field required.
- Registered nurse licensure required.
- Licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC, MFT or similar AZ Board of Behavioral Health licensure preferred.
- 8+ years in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting as a treatment team member or 5+ years of experience in utilization management for both mental health and substance abuse behavioral health disorders required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
This is a full time, in-office position.
