Child Developmental Behavior Specialist
Join the Soar Autism Center as a Child Developmental Behavior Specialist and contribute to enriching the lives of children on the autism spectrum. Our approach is grounded in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play‑based ABA therapy framework.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to professional standards.
- Implement intervention plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), ensuring alignment with ABA principles.
- Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on progress.
- Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with ABA therapy advancements.
- Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (paid training provided).
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with autism, and strong passion to help them thrive.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality essential.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, shift positions, lift up to 50 lbs., and walk short distances as needed for client work.
