We’re seeking a detail-oriented, team-driven ASC Medical Assistant to support surgical patient care at Arizona Pain’s Ambulatory Surgery Center. In this hands‑on clinical role, you’ll help prep patients for procedures, support our providers, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures (vitals, EMR intake, patient comfort)
- Set up rooms, trays, and supplies for surgical and office‑based procedures
- Assist providers during procedures and with patient flow
- Clean and sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Keep clinical documentation up to date (charts, logs, EMR)
- Check, prep, and log medications for procedures
- Monitor inventory and notify team when supplies or equipment are needed
- Support a safe and organized surgical environment
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 1‑3 year of experience in an ASC, Operating Room, or ER
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program
- Proficient with EMR systems (preferably eCW)
- Experience in a surgical, procedural, or fast‑paced clinical setting a plus
- Current certification as a medical assistant preferred
- Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and handle strong personalities
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to varying clinic environments
- Ability to occasionally travel between sites as needed.

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to move and lift patients as necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry medical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
