Medical Assistant at Ortho Arizona

Our premier team of more than 200 healthcare providers, including over 80 orthopedic specialists, serves all orthopedic and sports medicine needs from 30 orthopedic clinics across the Valley.
Job Details- Location: Scottsdale (Pima), AZ
- Job Type: Full‑time
- Salary: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
- Travel: Assists physicians in traveling from travel clinic to clinic

- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
- Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well‑organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
- Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.
- Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in a medical office.
- 1+ year using an EMR with Mod Med / EMA experience preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Modernizing medicine EMA EMR experience.
