Personal Banker - Scottsdale / Airpark

Department: Retail Sales Location: Scottsdale, AZ Salary Range: $22 - $28 per hour

First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is seeking a Personal Banker to join our Airpark Branch team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys building meaningful customer relationships, values accuracy and service, and is interested in growing their banking career in a collaborative branch environment.

As a Personal Banker, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting daily retail transactions, opening and maintaining consumer and business accounts, and helping customers feel confident in their financial decisions. The Airpark Branch provides a great opportunity to focus on relationship development, product knowledge, and collaboration with teammates across the branch.

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience as a trusted point of contact for retail banking needs.
• Accurately process daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments.
• Open and maintain consumer and business accounts in compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Verify customer identification and follow established security and fraud-prevention procedures.
• Educate customers on bank products, services, and policies to support personal or business needs.
• Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships through thoughtful product and service recommendations.
• Balance cash drawers and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate closely with branch teammates and internal partners to support referrals and shared customer goals.
• Follow all bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and confidentiality standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Previous experience in banking, retail financial services, or a similar customer-facing role preferred.
• Experience opening consumer and business accounts is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional, approachable demeanor.
• Desire to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibility over time.
• Ability to follow procedures, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards.
• Comfort working with computers and basic banking systems.
