Consumer Lender; PB III - Scottsdale​/Airpark

Salary Range: $26 - $35 per hour

First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is seeking a Consumer Lender (Personal Banker III) to join our Airpark Branch team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is ideal for an experienced retail banker who enjoys production-focused consumer lending, building long-term customer relationships, and serving as a true one-stop shop for customers’ everyday banking and borrowing needs.

As a Consumer Lender, you will own the end-to-end consumer lending experience while also supporting deposit growth, account opening, and transactional banking activities. The Airpark Branch offers an environment where you can focus on quality conversations, relationship deepening, and collaboration with branch and internal partners.

Unlike a traditional Personal Banker role, the Consumer Lender (PB III) position carries a higher level of responsibility and production focus. This role is accountable for consumer loan growth while still delivering full-service retail banking support making it an ideal opportunity for a seasoned banker looking to expand their lending expertise and influence within the branch.

• Serve as the customer’s one‑stop shop, assisting with teller transactions, account openings, maintenance requests, and consumer loan processing.
• Originate, process, and fund consumer loans while ensuring compliance with all technical, policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Grow and retain quality consumer loan and deposit portfolios through proactive relationship management and needs‑based recommendations.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while verifying identification and adhering to fraud‑prevention and security best practices.
• Accurately process daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
• Open and maintain consumer and business accounts in accordance with documentation and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with branch teammates and internal partners to refer business across FIBT departments and support holistic customer solutions.
• Maintain accuracy, balance cash drawers, and uphold internal controls and confidentiality standards.

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of retail banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in consumer lending, including loan processing and funding.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and grow loan and deposit portfolios.
• Strong working knowledge of retail banking systems, policies, and regulatory requirements.
