Private Banking Credit Analyst will provide analytical and underwriting support for the 1st Century Private Banking Team Lead. Credit analysis encompasses the following: financial analysis of borrowers and guarantors including personal and business tax returns, financial statements and other documents; communicating findings to the head of the Private Banking Team Lead, Private Banking and underwriting teams; reviewing and providing insight on in‑process work.
The position will assist the team in getting quick analysis done to meet fast deadlines and help prioritize workflow for a better internal and external client experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field
- 3+ years of experience in private bank, commercial credit analysis, financial analysis or similar related functions preferred
- Experience in mortgage underwriting, strong background in TRID and mortgage compliance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Moody's Risk Analyst and Buker Tax analysis (or comparable analytical software) preferred
