What We DoPerform routine and some non-routine analysis functions in general accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable. Drive process improvements, standardize procedures, and develop written procedures and metrics. Train staff, correct reconciliation discrepancies, and support special projects.
Essential Functions- Reconcile internal accounting data systems and resolve variances.
- Pursue process improvements and define success for customers.
- Partner with customers to improve service levels and meet needs.
- Research and resolve general ledger account discrepancies.
- Provide recommendations to maximize production efficiencies.
- Participate in M&A activities such as system and process integrations.
- Gather and prepare metrics or assigned reporting for the business unit.
- Analyze offshore production against SLA to identify quality, turnaround time, and productivity issues and suggest solutions.
- High complexity assignments requiring originality and ingenuity.
- Some latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions.
- Resolve errors with business and financial impact for internal and external customers.
- Embrace change, challenge the status quo, and adapt to changing environments.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Requires significant creativity and latitude.
Drive efficiencies, improve service levels, and support M&A integration efforts, directly contributing to the organization’s financial performance.
Knowledge And Skills/Technology Used- Critical Thinking – Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Problem Solving – Develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Conceptual understanding of accounting and finance principals.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills.
- Diagnose and analyze problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Facilitate meetings with high-level cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with mainframe system, Oracle preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 – 7 years of related experience.
Pay range: $49,600.00 – $82,600.00. Base pay is based on job knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
