Job SummaryWork with the Engineering team to conceptualize, design, evaluate and test new mechanical hardware components and assemblies. They will interface with other departments such as Product Management and Production to understand the use of and manufacturing processes of our products. They will be a key part in the design of new products and implementing improvements to legacy products throughout the product life cycle.
Duties & Responsibilities- Create accurate CAD models and Drawings in Solid Works.
- Create reports detailing designs, testing and experimentation.
- Assist the engineering team in maintenance of design drawings.
- Assist the engineering team in testing new products or changes to products.
- Assist in brainstorming of new creative solutions to products and problems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
- Up to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of Solid Works CAD software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness;

- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to use simple tools.
- Ability to utilize telephone for approximately 1-4 hours per day.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
- Frequently remain in a stationary position throughout day.
- Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
