Software Tester needed :
Scottsdale, AZ.

We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Advanced Test Engineer to work in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a 1 year contract position, and you must be a US Citizen to apply.

Required:

US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry)

Pay: 60 to $68.25 / hr.

SOFTWARE TESTER

As a Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your contributions will be vital to the success and innovation of the program.

• Ground system design or scheduling knowledge
• Tracking mission design knowledge
• Satellite communications knowledge
• Ground to satellite communication knowledge

• Experience with system / software design for cloud-based microservice architecture
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity with operating systems:
  Linux, Windows
• Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V

• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies
• Experience with systems design, integration, and validation
• Proficiency in requirements analysis and system architecture design

• Understanding of Dev Ops principles and practices
• Experience with automation tools:
  Ansible, Puppet, Chef

• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code:
  Terraform, Cloud Formation

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Familiarity with compliance standards: NIST, ISO 27001

• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in documenting system designs, configurations, and procedures

• Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and design behavior
• Experience with ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads
• Experience with tracking IR payload or ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis
• Experience decomposing high-level space-ground systems design into ground software / systems design

• Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as CAMEO or Magic Draw

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling

• Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment

• Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
