Advanced Engineering Technician

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $27.96-$32.96/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

• Support prototype fabrication, testing, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, optical/laser devices, and specialized test equipment

• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to assist in system build and testing

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust various tools, test setups, and systems for engineering experiments and evaluations

• Conduct and analyze statistically based experiments to define and refine manufacturing or engineering process parameters

• Design and fabricate custom tools, fixtures, and test setups to meet engineering needs or perform unique tasks

• Document and implement process improvements and engineering solutions based on experimental findings

• Organize and interpret test and process data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions or enhancements

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law

• Associate’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering technician experience

• Proficient in fabrication techniques and use of fabrication tools

• Ability to fabricate and assemble complex electro-mechanical hardware

• Strong understanding of technical theory
