Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire Role and Position Objectives As an Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer supporting the SDA GMI program, you will join a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Translate mission requirements into robust system designs within accelerated timelines.
* Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases.
* Collaborate with developers and integration/test teams to ensure components meet mission needs.
* Champion technology trends and process improvements throughout the systems development life cycle.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
* 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience.
* Agile development experience preferred.
* Security Clearance:
Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire. U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Preferred Skills and Experience
* Ground system design and scheduling expertise.
* Tracking mission design and satellite communications knowledge.
* Experience with cloud-based microservice architecture.
* Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., CAMEO, Magic Draw).
* Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, MATLAB) for system analysis and prototyping.
* Simulation and modeling experience using tools like STK for aerospace applications. What Sets You Apart
