Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Space Force - Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Secret position that just opened in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will translate complex requirements into robust system designs for ground operational systems supporting space missions. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience.

* Translate complex requirements into robust system designs for ground operational systems supporting space missions.
* Decompose end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases.
* Collaborate with developers, integration teams, and mission partners to ensure technical solutions meet operational needs.
* Champion new ideas and process improvements throughout the systems development life cycle. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (Science, Engineering, Mathematics) and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
* Agile development experience preferred.
* U.S. citizenship and active Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire. Preferred Skills
* Ground system design and scheduling knowledge.
* Expertise in tracking mission design and satellite communications.
* Experience with cloud-based microservice architectures.
* Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or Magic Draw.
* Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, MATLAB) for system analysis and prototype development.
* Simulation and modeling experience using tools like STK. What Sets You Apart
