Responsibilities

The TBM Instructor will deliver ground school, in-simulator training, and in-aircraft training during Initial, Recurrent, or Specialty training courses for our clients. The Instructor will prioritize the customer’s progress and work to improve the customer’s performance. Methods will include:
1) Using a focused approach to individual training needs,
2) Tailoring the training to address the customer’s improvement areas, and
3) Using the briefing and debriefing time to provide constructive feedback and criticism.

In this role, the PC-12 NGX Instructor will be responsible to:

  • Provide standardized training in the classroom, in the simulator, and in the aircraft
  • Provide Initial Recurrent Training, and differences training
  • Enforce the CAE SIMCOM standards, teaching in accordance with safety standards
  • Use verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills to teach effectively
  • Provide constructive feedback and evaluate customers' progress

Requirements:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot License required
  • FAA CFI and CFI-I rating required
  • 1,500 total flight hours required
  • College degree preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based programs
  • Excellent fluency in English, both verbal and written; able to speak, read, and write effectively
