Supervise the daily activities of the Kids Club Program at the school where the program is located.
- Supervises children during play activities meeting their needs for attention, guidance, and safety.
- Provides all children with creative, challenging activities and the older children with study time.
- Maintains interpersonal environment that:
- provides warmth and affection to all children equally
- fosters self-esteem, respect for others and independence
- provides for individual differences and abilities
- establishes good communication with parents.
- Maintains daily enrollment records and keeps on file enrollment and emergency forms.
- Maintains tuition records and collections.
- Maintains the physical environment of the Kids Club room and play area.
- Leaves center clean, materials put away, and rooms locked.
- Stays with any child not picked up on time, calling parents or emergency pick-up person.
- Participates in self and program evaluation.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the Arizona Department of Health Regulations and adheres to them.
- Participates in evaluation of staff assisting supervisor in Center.
- Reports to the Community Education Director and/or Community Education Coordinator and the on-site Principal.
- CDA credential (school age children) preferred.
- High School graduate, higher education preferred.
- Supervisory experience with large groups of children of various ages.
- Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and willingness to learn.
- Evidence of attendance at school age children training seminars and workshop classes.
- Working knowledge of the Arizona Department of Health regulations for child care centers.

Position is a 40 hour per week position. 6:00 a.m.
-10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
