• Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment.
• Support dentists and dental hygienists by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair‑side accessibility to the team during procedures or examinations.
• Schedule appointments for patient care follow‑up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures.
• Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x‑rays of the patient’s mouth, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed.
• Must be able to fabricate aesthetic, well‑fitting temporaries.
• Must be familiar with Invisalign, including taking records, placing attachments, and scanning.
• Must be skilled in basic assisting, such as but not limited to suctioning, packing cord, accurate notes, and explaining treatment to patients.
• Must pass a reference check.
• Evaluate and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x‑rays of the patient’s mouth, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed.
