As a Dental Hygienist, you will be a crucial part of our clinical team, providing exceptional preventive and periodontal care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing essential preventive and periodontal procedures such as scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, sealants, and teeth whitening.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, appliance care, and maintaining periodontal health.
- Conducting patient screenings by taking x-rays, performing periodontal assessments, and evaluating overall oral health.
- Accurately documenting all clinical findings, treatments provided, and patient history in their records.
- Observing and reporting any signs of patient distress or medical concerns to the attending dentist.
- Maintaining a clean, sterilized, and well‑organized treatment room to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborating effectively with a respectful and supportive dental team to deliver the best possible patient care.
- An active Dental Hygiene License in the state of New York.
- Certification in Local Anesthesia.
- Certification in Laser Debridement.
- A friendly, team‑oriented attitude with a passion for patient education and communication.
- A reliable and dependable team player who is punctual and proactive in learning office technology and procedures.
