Senior Superintendent

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for leading field operations on large-scale data center construction projects. This role oversees day-to-day site activities, manages field teams and subcontractors, and ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards.

The Senior Superintendent works closely with project managers, engineers, and trade partners to coordinate complex construction activities while maintaining strict safety protocols and project timelines required for mission-critical facilities.

• Lead overall field operations for large-scale data center construction projects.
• Manage and coordinate superintendents, field engineers, and subcontractor teams on site.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and sequencing plans to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee installation of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems
  , including power distribution and cooling systems.
• Maintain a strong site safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety programs.
• Coordinate closely with project management, owners, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve field issues and maintain progress.
• Monitor subcontractor productivity, quality of work, and adherence to project scope.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and site planning sessions with field teams and trade partners.
• Oversee site logistics, equipment coordination, and material deliveries.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
• Support commissioning preparation and system turnover activities for mission-critical infrastructure.
• Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project leadership.

• Extensive experience managing field operations on large-scale commercial or mission-critical construction projects

• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure systems
  , including electrical distribution and mechanical cooling systems.
• Proven leadership ability managing large field teams and multiple subcontractors

• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, sequencing, and site logistics planning
  .
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of construction experience
  , including leadership roles in field operations.
• Experience working on data center or mission-critical facility projects strongly preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale, technically complex construction projects

• Data center construction projects supporting hyperscale or enterprise clients
• Oversight of large electrical and mechanical infrastructure installations
• Experience managing multi-phase or multi-building data center campuses
• Familiarity with mission-critical project scheduling and commissioning coordination
