Duration: 10 Months
Role Summary
This role supports the Strategic Procurement team by leading cross-functional procurement and supply chain initiatives. The position focuses on supplier sourcing, cost analysis, risk mitigation, contract negotiations, and project execution within a regulated (medical device) environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple procurement and supply chain projects simultaneously
- Analyze supplier quotes, RFQs, and RFPs to recommend best total cost solutions
- Source, evaluate, and onboard mechanical and electrical suppliers for medical device components
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and supplier agreements
- Manage procurement requests, purchase orders, and supplier communications
- Track project milestones, timelines, cost savings, and KPIs
- Support supplier risk mitigation, resilience planning, and second-source strategies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations teams to ensure compliance
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation and contingency plans
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation of sourcing decisions, contracts, and supplier performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or technical project management
- Experience in medical devices or other highly regulated industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and cross-functional project execution
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Strong analytical, data processing, and visualization skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
- Medical device manufacturing or regulated supply chain experience
- Prior procurement, sourcing, or analyst experience
