Who We’re Looking For:We’re looking for a data‑driven Demand Planner to support a fast‑growing eCommerce eyewear brand. This role is ideal for someone who understands the dynamics of DTC and eCommerce forecasting and can balance analytical rigor with the realities of a scaling consumer brand.
You’ll own demand forecasting and inventory planning across SKUs and channels, working closely with operations, finance, and merchandising to ensure the right products are available at the right time without overstocking or stockouts. This role requires strong eCommerce experience, comfort working with imperfect data, and the ability to adapt quickly as the business evolves.
📍This is an in‑office role, Scottsdale, AZ (4 days in office)
What You’ll Do:- Own demand forecasting for an eCommerce eyewear business across SKUs, collections, and channels
- Build and maintain rolling demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and growth assumptions
- Partner with operations and supply chain to translate demand forecasts into purchase plans and inventory targets
- Monitor inventory levels, sell‑through, and weeks of supply to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Analyze product performance by SKU, style, and channel to inform assortment and replenishment decisions
- Forecast the impact of promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives on demand
- Support new product launches with demand planning and initial buy recommendations
- Collaborate closely with finance on forecasting, budgeting, and inventory‑related cash flow planning
- Track forecast accuracy and continuously improve forecasting models and assumptions
- Identify demand risks and opportunities and proactively communicate recommendations to cross‑functional partners
- Build scalable demand planning processes, tools, and reporting as the brand grows
- 3+ years of demand planning, forecasting, or inventory planning experience
- Strong eCommerce or DTC consumer brand experience (apparel, accessories, or eyewear preferred)
- Solid understanding of inventory management, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain fundamentals
- Experience working with SKU‑level data, seasonality, and promotional planning
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with planning tools or ERP systems is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment
- Clear communicator who can partner effectively across operations, finance, and merchandising teams
- Competitive base salary $85k-$110k based on experience and comprehensive health insurance
